We love a good SFF blog



"Quit worrying," said our publicity director to us today, "We'll expense it." His lunchtime appointment fell through, so we were happy to pick up the spare. And he was wistful and mostly absent, except to say something about "blogs" and "Bizarchives". So we swam back to the office and called the librarian who put us onto this excellent substack.

Therefore, for the sake of this article, the Golden Age instead will refer to the time when the first generation of Astounding writers–Henry Kuttner, van Vogt, Asimov, and Heinlein–were initially active, from 1939-1955.

So much revisionism requires so much energy one wonders "Why bother?" But, also, why let revisionism win? Where in the heck does P.D. get his tips?
